Dear 2008 SPONSOR of Woodlands Lacrosse,

On behalf of the players, parents, coaches and many volunteers who help make Lacrosse in The Woodlands a success -- WE THANK YOU for your willingness to support our efforts.

Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the state of Texas, however it is a non UIL supported (club) sport in the state of Texas. Since Woodlands Lacrosse is NOT supported financially by the local school district, our club is responsible for all expenses.

We are very proud of the accomplishments of our Woodlands Lacrosse players. Currently the High School team is ranked 4th in the state of Texas and the Junior High team will be seeking its 4th consecutive Houston Area City Championship this spring.

Though our programs have been successful, we realize our growth and continued success rest heavily on area support from businesses such as yours.

Fundraising money this year is being earmarked for some specific items, including a defibrillator and public address system. It is with great respect and humility we ask you to consider supporting our program by way of one of the following outlets;

1. Be a “CLUB SPONSOR” by donating $250 or MORE. Club Sponsors will be recognized by the following advertising outlets; Donors will be listed on the high school and junior high websites as Club Sponsors: www.woodlandslacrosse.org and www.woodlandsjuniorhighlacrosse.org , announced as a generous sponsor over our PA system at every home high school game and listed on roster sheets in the donor section. In addition, Donors will be recognized as a Golf Hole sponsor at our annual Golf Fundraiser by placing a recognizable sign at a specific tee-box along the course.

2. Be a “GOLF HOLE SPONSOR” by donating $100 or more. Golf Hole Sponsors will be recognized at our annual golf fundraiser by placing a recognizable sign at a specific tee-box along the course.

3. Be a “RAFFLE SPONSOR” by donating merchandise, gift certificates or other items to be raffled off at our annual golf fundraiser April 4, 2008. Raffle Sponsors will be highly recognized at the golf fundraiser.

Golf Tournament 2008

TIME: Approximately Noon
PLACE: Lake Windcrest

This is a Junior High and High School Event

HOLE SPONSOR: $250 will get you a banner on a hole. We will also announce your sponsorship at home games and place you on our website. We are also in need of giveaways for 1st place team, longest drive, etc...

Get your foursomes together. We will accept credit cards.

Garage Sale:                                                                                                      The Woodlands fall garage sale this year on September 30th for the lacroose club was a great sucess, we met our fundraising goal. Thank to Heater koett Na Susan Durio for all there hard work. Thanks also to all who helped out at the sale and donated goods to be sold. Thank you from your Jr High Lacrosse Club.
