NORTHSTAR LACROSSE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

NorthStar Lacrosse Skills Development ProgramOffered to boys in two different grade groups, 1st - 3rd grade and 4th - 6th grade, the NorthStar Lacrosse Skills Development Program is a feeder program for the Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Club. The program guides players through the fundamentals of lacrosse, helping them discover the skills necessary to begin enjoying the
sport. It is an excellent, no pressure way for
first timers and novice athletes to learn lacrosse.

Over the course of several weeks players learn the fundementals of lacrosse through a series of skills and drills sessions one to two times a week depending on the grade group. In addition, they will also get the opportunity to compete against fellow participants in either "indoor box style" lacrosse games outdoors or in a Chumash game, depending on the number of participants.
