5TH & 6TH GRADE COMPETITIVE TEAM
The Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse 5th & 6th grade team is a competitive team which competes throughout the season with other 5th & 6th Grade Houston Area teams in the Greater Houston Lacrosse league. The team will have several home games here in The Woodlands at GULLO Park but will also be required to travel to other team's home facilities throughout the year to play. The season will close with an end of the year tournament whose winner will be crowned the 5th & 6th Grade League Champion, a honor the Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Club held for the first time in 2009.
TryoutsThe first three practices of the spring season will be used as a tryout for all first year lacrosse players who have registered for the 5th & 6th Grade team. Depending on the number of participants and the skill level of each participant it is possible some may not make the team and be asked to participate in the Lacrosse Skills Development Program.
While not a competitive program, the Lacrosse Skills Development Program focuses on development of the fundamental skills necessary to begin enjoying the sport. It is an excellent, no pressure way for first timers and novice atheletes to learn lacrosse.
Registration ChecksRegistration checks will be held for those first year players on the 5th & 6th Grade who are trying out. If not selected to participate on the competitive team your check will be returned. If you are selected to be on the 5th & 6th Grade competitive team your check will be deposited. Registration checks for all returning players will be deposited upon receipt.
*A player must be registered and paid in full in order to participate in practice on January 7th.

| Register: | In order to register for the Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Club 5th & 6th Grade team you must first register with US Lacrosse. Be sure to write down your US Lacrosse number after registering as you will need it to complete the Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse registration form.
Once you've registered with US Lacrosse; print out, fill in and sign all three of the documents in the registration packet (Registration Form, Medical Release Form and the Code of Conduct Form):
Then please make your check for $600 out to: Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Mail your completed three forms along with your check to: Bill Hughes
