7TH GRADE COMPETITIVE TEAM

The Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse 7th Grade team is a competitive team which competes throughout the season with other Houston Area teams in the Greater Houston Lacrosse league. The team will have several home games here in The Woodlands at GULLO Park but will also be required to travel to other team's home facilities throughout the year to play. The season will close with an end of the year tournament whose winner will be crowned the Champion of the Greater Houston Lacrosse 7th Grade League. The Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Club was honored to be named the inaugural champion in 2009.

Depending on the number of players and the skill level of each player, on both the 7th and the 8th Grade teams, some 7th graders may be asked to play some on the 8th Grade team as well as the 7th Grade team. This privilege is solely at the discretion of the 7th & 8th Grade coaches and does not require a second registration or payment.

Due to the 7th & 8th Grade teams sharing coaches, joint practices will be common.

*A player must be registered and paid in full in order to participate in practice on January 4th.

 

Program Details

Eligible participants: 7th grade boys
Practice: January 4th - May 7th
Practice Schedule:
Mondays: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Tuesdays: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Wednesdays: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Unless otherwise notified
Location: LAKESIDE PARK (next to Buckalew Elementary)

Games: TBD once competitive league schedule is finalized (approximately 1st or 2nd week of January)
Equipment:

Participants must wear full equipment at all sessions:

  • Lacrosse Helmet
  • Lacrosse Shoulder Pads
  • Lacrosse Arm Pads
  • Lacrosse Gloves
  • Lacrosse Stick
  • Athlectic Cup

The Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Club will provide:

  • Lacrosse Game Jersey (season use only)
  • Lacrosse Game Shorts (players keep)
Requirements: US Lacrosse membership
Cost: $600.00
Additional Information: Registered players will be required to paticipate in a club sponsored fundraiser as well as have a local business or indivdual become a sponsor.
Register:

In order to register for the Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Club 7th Grade team you must first register with US Lacrosse. Be sure to write down your US Lacrosse number after registering as you will need it to complete the Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse registration form.
